Now that I have learned a lot about barn owls I have learned that they digest their food in a strange way. Because they do have two stomachs but one of those stomachs serves a different perpus than the other. I have also learned that one of their main priorities is to hunt down their favorite food wich is the vole.The population decreases by weather,sticks a owl hunting. They regurgitate the pray that they catch to their small baby chicks. I still remember the time we got to dissect our pellet. I was surprised of how many bones I found in one little pellet. I mean can you beleve it had enough bones to make a hole vole well almost hole. Barn owls are organisms that were made to hunt,for example their sharp tallens,their sharp beak and don't forget their wings that make them so quiet in the air. They live in a very fragile ecosystem. The barn owls live in a cold habitat.Owls would be the apex predator if humans would stop destroying their habitat. We need to protectecet our biosphere to save our species.
